Hello, my name is Rhiain here's a little bit about myself, I’m a friendly independent groomer who works one to one with your beloved dog in a grooming parlour perfectly quaint in my own garden. I've had over a year’s experience in dog grooming becoming fully qualified and earning my City & Guilds level 2&3 which includes first aid.
My decision to become a dog groomer embarked 3 years ago when I realised the passion I have for dogs, and my surprising natural talent to groom my own Cavachon struck a new idea for me to train as a groomer. Since opening my grooming salon I realised this is my dream job and I'm not looking back!
Before becoming a dog groomer, I was a carer and well suited to the roll as I am caring by nature and continue to be by putting your dog’s needs first as each pooch is different and require different grooming techniques.
My work is to help maintain a healthy manageable grooming style for your dog which keeps them happy in themselves and their day to day lives. I'm fully trained in manual handling and being able to handle your dogs with extreme care to suit each personality. Having the ability to read your dog’s body language and understand when their feeling stressed or nervous so I can adapt my grooming technique, offering little breaks for water and cuddles constantly reassuring your dog so they have a positive grooming experience. I’m qualified to health check your dog and make an informed decision if they're okay to be groomed that day and that they don’t have any health problems that could be impacted by being groomed. My goal is to have your dog leaving happy and looking stylish and smelling fresh.
